BrightNotes
Turning Music into Meaningful Action
BrightNotes is a student-led music initiative that transforms artistic talent into social impact.
Students plan and host fundraising concerts, organize hospital and community performances, and use music as a bridge between youth and underserved communities. Funds raised are donated to partner organizations supporting stateless children and other vulnerable groups, ensuring that creative expression translates into tangible support.
Currently, BrightNotes works closely with the CS Music Club from Chingshin Academy, regularly performing at hospitals to bring comfort and companionship through music.
Beyond fundraising, BrightNotes empowers students to speak about social issues publicly — through performances, storytelling, and digital advocacy — allowing music to become a voice for children who are often unheard.
Music is not just performance. It is participation.
LightAid
Healthcare Beyond Legal Boundaries
LightAid focuses on supporting children who are excluded from Taiwan's national health insurance system — particularly those without legal nationality.
Student teams work alongside corporate sponsors and professional partners to secure stable medical funding, ensuring consistent access to treatment, checkups, and essential care.
More than financial assistance, LightAid provides students with firsthand experience in resource coordination, accountability, and long-term impact management.
Transparent monthly reporting ensures that every contribution is traceable and measurable, building trust and sustainability into the system.
AID
Monthly Funding Model
Through LightAid, we provide consistent support for medical checkups, emergency care, and necessary treatments for stateless children born to undocumented workers who lack legal protection.
Transparency Pledge
Trust is the foundation of our action. We provide detailed quarterly transparency reports to our corporate sponsors, ensuring every dollar is traced to a child's critical healthcare needs.
HeartLink
Building Relationships That Last
“A steady presence is the most powerful tool we have for healing.”
— Lantern Cofounder Alvin Chen
HeartLink coordinates a volunteer system focused on long-term companionship.
Students are recruited, trained, and guided before participating in visits
and outreach activities, ensuring engagement is thoughtful, respectful, and sustained.
In addition to community visits,
HeartLink organizes public engagement and fundraising initiatives,
sharing real stories and inviting broader society into conversation.
We believe change is built through continuity, not one-time gestures.
Companionship, when sustained, becomes its own kind of light.
Structured visits require structured support.
Join fundraising efforts to ensure every child has the consistency they deserve.
